the Palestinian
Travel
Document
The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in San
Francisco, extends its compliments and presents the instructions to renew the
Palestinian travel document, taking into consideration that the Consulate can
not issue a new one without the approval of the Egyptian ministry of interior
affairs in Cairo, which takes about 4-6 weeks.
1. You have to complete the following and send it by mail or submit
it to the consulate:
q Request form to issue
Palestinian travel document.
q Notarized declaration of
not holding any foreign travel document or passport.
q Notarized declaration
for people borne in Gaza of not holding a permission to go back to Gaza.
q Copy of the first pages of the expired
travel document.
q Copy of stay permission abroad (In

q The expired travel document.
q 2 passport photographs.
q Fees for $45.00 in Cashier Check or Money orders payable to "Egyptian
Consulate" (personal
checks are not accepted).
q For mail, please enclose
self-addressed prepaid express mail . The consulate will not be responsible of any other kind of mail.
4. The procedure takes 2 days if done by mail,
and on the same day for the person who come to the consulate.
