Legalization of Commercial Documents

 

Egyptian consulate in San Francisco welcomes you and informs that it can legalize the following commercial documents for you:

InvoicesCertificate of Origin - Authorization Letters for Commercial Use -   Patent-Trade Marks Certificate to Foreign Government Sole Agency’s Agreement  Establishing a Company in Egypt  Agreement of Exclusive Distribution  Certificate of Free Sale – Any other documents related to importation and exportation of goods and products with Egypt.

 

Other Non Commercial Documents such as documents of Charity Organization, NGOs, Non-Profit Organization, Non-Commercial Personal documents, Non-Commercial documents of Religious Institutions would be dealt with according to the procedures of Legalizing Non-Commercial Documents.

 

Legalization of Commercial Documents mentioned in the first paragraph above should follow the following regulations:

 

  1. Any commercial document must be authenticated first from the Secretary of State then the American Egyptian Cooperation Foundation before it will be legalized from the consulate. You may reach the AECF at:

  1. After authentication send the documents to the consulate at the following address:

  1.  Send the documents to be legalized with the following:

1)      Legalization fees is $55 for each document in Cashier Check or Money orders payable to “Consulate of Egypt”, Personal &Business Check are not accepted.

2)       please enclose self-addressed prepaid express mail or prepaid certified mail envelope to send the documents back  after legalization (For FEDEX, DHL, please send  cashier checks payable to the  selected company from the above mentioned companies. or complete the sender section stating the account number and the name of the account holder The consulate does not accept any account numbers or credit cards or personnel checks for the payment to these companies).

  1. The consulate needs 2 business days to legalize the documents.
