For Replacing Lost Egyptian Passport

The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in San Francisco, extends its compliments and presents the instructions to replace an Egyptian Passport, taking into consideration that the Consulate can not replace the lost passport until the approval is granted by the Egyptian ministry of interior affairs in Cairo, which takes about 4-6 weeks.

1. You have to complete the following and send it by mail or submit it to the consulate:

q Complete the following application form.

q Present a Police report.

q Copy of the lost passport if available.

q Copy of each and every document available i.e. (Egyptian Identification card/ Birth Certificate /copy of the Military ID. Card etc...........).

q Copy of foreign passport, if the applicant has another citizenship beside his Egyptian citizenship.

2. Once the approval is granted, you will be notified and you have to follow the regular procedures to issue a new passport.
