Egyptian Passport

The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in San Francisco extends its compliments and presents the following instructions in order to issue or to renew the expired Egyptian Passport:

1. Complete the application form (click here for the form) Then bring it in person to the consulate or send it by mail after notarizing the signature and the photo of the concerned person on the application by any Notary Public, in addition to the following:

q The expired passport.

q 4 passport photographs.

q Males (from age 18 years and was Born after 17/3/1941) must present the Military status.

q For sons and daughters under age of 21 years old, an approval statement must be signed by the father at the consulate or in front a Notary Public.

2. Fees for $75.00 ( send additional $20.00 if you would like to be registered at the consulate) in Cashier Check or Money orders payable to "Egyptian Consulate" (personal checks are not accepted).

3. For mail, please enclose self-addressed prepaid express mail. The consulate will not be responsible of any other kind of mail the citizen may send.

4. The procedure takes 5 working days to be processed by the consulate, plus mail.
