Requirements
The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in
San Francisco extends its compliments and presents the following instructions
in order to obtain an Egyptian Family Record for Egyptian citizens:
1. Egyptian citizens need the family record for the
following purposes:
2. To obtain a family record you have to submit a request
to obtain it with the following documents to the consulate:
I. Copy of the Egyptian family ID of the person (father of
the son looking for postponing or exempting from military service).
II. Copy of Egyptian passport for the same person>
III. Money
Order or Cashier Check
payable to "Egyptian Consulate" for $20.00 for each family
record (personal
checks are not accepted).
IV. For mail, please enclose self-addressed prepaid express mail
envelope to send the family record.
3. The Consulate will send all these documents to the Ministry of interior affairs in Egypt which issues the family record and send it back to the consulate.
4. The process will take approximately six weeks (6 Weeks)
.
5. The family record is valid only for three month after
that you have to apply for a new one, so you have to complete you work within
these 3 month.
